1. Issue
Penn State University, one of the USA's largest college football programs, wanted a schedule poster that stood, out from the crowd. They had seen KEP's Pop Up Helmet sand wondered if we could develop a poster that incorporated the helmet.

To create a product that could function as a poster or as a removable cardboard helmet.
3. Solution
We experimented with different paper weights and finishing techniques to create a single-side laminated poster that was rigid enough to exist as a poster, but could easily be punched out into a helmet. KEP delivered 12,000 helmets with a 3-week turn around time. The innovation was the first of its kind and PennState's video of the poster received over 300k views across all social media platforms. Media coverage showed a positive perception of Penn State as the nation's leading college football program.
